Houston's Best Hairstlylist, Kat – I walked into SOK just to buy some hair products and ended up talking to one of the stylists. He was very professional and made me feel very welcome and we ended up setting up an appointment for me to get my hair colored. On the day of my coloring, I went into the salon and was very pleased with the customer service and the atmosphere itself. i dont suggest a shampoo – i went to get a haircut and a new haircolor trying to change my look for the summer..i went with kat about a month ago she was amazing my hair feels great.. but when it got to the shampoo i wasnt really into it.. theyre shampoo guy had some really bad breath not to be mean but seriously can somebody say breath mint!!if i was a true friend i would tell him he has a problem.. i usually enjoy my shampoos but i just couldnt wait for this one to be over with i kind of wish i could of shampoo my own hair... read more
Horrible color experience – Casey promised me that I would not have roots from my semi-permanent hair color. You do have roots with any hair color, as I learned the hard way. Don't trust his word, do your own research because he obviously doesn't know what he is talking about.
ANDREW is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – My girlfriend and I went in to get our haircuts together and Andrew happened to be available. THANK THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!! My girlfriend is very picky about her hair and knows exactly what she wants. But Andrew took the time to ask her what she likes and why and then created a totally new look for her that she fell in love with and EVEN CRIED!!! Go See Casey!! – Definitely, book an appointment with Casey (especially if you're a blonde) and do it fast because he books up! I had my first appointment with him today, he is everything that these reviews say and more. He took me from drab to fab in no time and the prices are reasonable as well!
Great Haircut with Roy – I just got my haircut with Roy and it was fantastic! He served me a mimosa and made me feel very welcome in the salon. We talked about my hair and he suggested long layers for my all one length long hair. He gives a great head massage and blew it out very nicely as well! He is also really cute, which was the icing on the cake! Go see him for your haircut, you will NOT be disappointed!

Best hair in Houston! – I moved to Houston a little over two years ago and have had a horrible time finding a great stylist. I went to see May at SoK last summer and have not gone anywhere else since. The atmosphere at SoK is hip, fun, and relaxing all at the same time. The shampoo chairs massage you while you are being rinsed, and everyone is very friendly. May is an amazing talented stylist. She is great with color AND cuts.
