Not overmedicate patients to the point of almost stopping their heart, then discharging them so they collapse within 40 minutes and need an ambulance. Your own ER doctor pointed out the medication he was given that caused this.
RecommendedOur first time at Soin. The staff was outstanding. Communication from the time my husband was scheduled to the time he was discharged was spot on. Pt. education is thorough. Our nurse, Wendy, made us feel like my husband was her only patient. Food in the cafeteria was great. I believe Soin has become our preferred hospital....well worth the drive from Centerville.
Most definitely not. The wait time is terrible. Having a doctor call someone having a seizure a drama queen. Especially right having two seizures in the waiting room while the nurse staff did nothing and acted like it was nothing.
The night time ER doctor is incompetent and abusive, especially when dealing with ANYONE in mental distress. He forced me to publicaly strip naked. It was humiliating and dehumanizing. He made me feel violated as he sneered up and down my body. I'll never go to this hospital again. I've heard many similar horror stories from people who have been abused at this facility.
I think soin is a great place I have my orthopedist , my hematologist and my ent in the same building!! I am usually always nervous as I have autism but never at soin the staff and the people are so friendly and welcoming
My daughter has had amazing experience with all the staff at Soin, special shout out to her surgeon, Dr. Melton for taking such great care of her!
My wife was recently scheduled to be induced at the Soin Medical Center Labor and Delivery. We arrived at the hospital at 4 AM for the scheduled induction and the nurse at the front desk greeted us warmly as she looked up our information and proceeded to bring us in and show us to our room. I was told "Why do you keep coming here, there's nothing we can do for you".
I feel there emergency room sucked and I even had the nurse attending my mom once she was admitted that they are so disappointed in their ER and the lack of treatment!
