Had a very unsatisfactory visit with Robert Hickman at La Jolla UTC this morning. It was my first time using One Medical and it is marketed as 'unrushed appointments' but it was very rushed. I had more questions and he literally said 'we don't have any more time for that.' And rushed me out the office door. I was so confused. He must have had another appointment. I've never experienced that at a doctor's office in my life.
Unfortunately, one of the worst pychiatry experiences I've had, and I've seen at least a dozen. Instead of listening, she spent our whole half hour repeating that she doesn't want to take me on as a patient if I am already being seen by another psychiatrist (fair enough, but wasting our time repeating it 100x doesn't help). I have Kaiser, and they are horrible for mental health, so I need to see an outside Pych. for the past few years. Dr Chrastil is professional, pleasant, doesn’t rush you, and answers all your questions. I’ve seen him twice, and he had a great bedside manner and smile both times. His assistant Kate is the same and handles scheduling and prescriptions. The whole staff from front desk to XRay was professional and pleasant too. I can tell I won’t just be Hip Replacement #5723. I may just choose him as my surgeon, based on what I have experienced so far. Definitely recommend for a consult and evaluation of your painful condition.
I was very nervous when II read the reviews about Dr. Kim but decided to give it a try. I am so happy II did. Dr. Kim was very attentive to my worries and concerns. He answered all my questions and took his time to explain everything. I had surgery and wanted to make sure to make the right choice. I am so grateful for Dr Kim and the care II received. I would absolutely recommend Dr Kim.

She’s not a good doctor. She forced me to have a chaperone against my will, even though I’ve said that I wasn’t interested multiple times. She truly upset me when she forced a chaperone against my will. Completely unacceptable
I saw Ms. Kurz in 2021 after finding out I was pregnant. So much time has passed, but I felt it was necessary to write a review to warn others. This provider made me feel so horrible about myself when I went to go see her. During our visit, I shared that I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and was unsure about whether I wanted to be a mother (which I now know is normal).
