Which stylist? Kalie or Marissa - can you advise on which stylist to go with? It sounds like some are much better than others! I'm a professional woman with fairly long straight hair.

So relaxing If you are looking for a day spa or good hair stylists, this place is great. Granted, it's not a chain -- meaning your hair cut won't be $8, but it won't look like an $8 hair cut either. As with anything downtown in New Haven, you'll deal with the traffic and parking but looking good comes with a price! :)

Jo Christine at SoHo is great! She is pretty new and is a great addition to SoHo! She is an excellent stylist and colorist and won't let you leave unhappy! She listens to what you want and has some ideas and suggestions of her own. One of her best talents is corrections. ... And I suggest that if you go and are unhappy with a result, you should speak to the owner. He would want you to be happy with your experience at SoHo and will make sure you get the fix you want. Best massage and facial ever I moved to New Haven from Chicago for a very lucrative but highly stressful job. As a professional woman I regularly work out and get facials and massages. I came to Soho because of reputation and was not disappointed. The facial was so thorough and relaxing and the massage was glorious! I've already sent so many people from work you would think I own stock ( are you ever going public?)

So Happy!!! I love my hair for the first time in my whole life! I got pretty caramel hiilights and a keratin treatment. It cost more than I've ever paid, and even though it sounds silly and superficial, I feel more confident now that I don't have dull, frizzy hair! Love you Soho!!!

The WORST Customer Service EVER My fiance went to get his hair cut there, and got one of the worst haircuts he's ever had. He has long, curly hair, and told the stylist not to take too much off. The stylist proceeded to cut it WAY too short, and now it just frizzes. The worst part was, our wedding is in two weeks, and his hair is ruined no matter what happens. To make matters even worse than that, when he called the next day to express his displeasure, Soho refused to refund his money ($48 for a men's haircut!! Outrageous!).... read more

the spa is better than the salon The haircuts are not really worth the price but the spa treatments are worth it. They also do a really good job on waxing and the price was reasonable.
