First time here !! Loved my experience
Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I’m a born and raised Austinite and wanted to try a new nail salon. I booked an appointment on their website hours before I went and showed up on time, but ended up waiting almost 40 minutes past my appointment time before I just walked out. Multiple people came in after me who sounded like they didn’t have an appointment and were getting serviced before me. I have gone here once and had Tee and a great experience. I came back and had a terrible experience. The woman who helped me spent an extraordinary long amount of time “massaging,” my leg legs, but really she wasn’t massaging anything. She was just sort of rubbing lotion around on them. Then we went to do my nails and it took five minutes. A week later my cuticles are not done. The nails are crooked and it looks terrible. I don’t know what I spent $70 on. I came here during my birthday weekend for an upper leg wax and a manicure after a friend recommended the salon. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had. When the waxing started, it felt like the esthetician had little to none experience. The wax was applied randomly, it was extremely hot, and it was burning my skin while barely removing any hair. The pedicure was mediocre at best but the manicure is where they really failed. The girl didn’t listen to me because she was too busy taking a phone call. At $183 with tip you’d think I’d at least get the technicians full attention. She completely butchered my nails. I didn’t want to make a scene but I sobbed the entire ride home. I called the salon as soon as I got home, there was zero remorse, and the person was very quick to tell me there were no refunds!! We’ll see what the credit card company says though!!
