I would love to say stay away – because I have wanted to keep this place our secret...but the cat is out of the bag. My wife and I went to Sociale 7 months ago and fell in love with it. The food is great with a creative revolving menu, and the service is wonderful, friendly, and know what they are doing. And not enough can be said for the delightful, scrumptious fried olives...mmm...fried olives.
A perfect SF type restaurant – Sociale is one of the best restaurants that I have been to in the city. Went for the first time about 4 months after they opened and though a little chilly, had one of the best times. The staff was more than attentive and knowledgeable, the food was excellent and the ambience is perfect for a couple or small group of friends. I recommend it to everyone.
Perfect neigborhood spot! – Great little spot with a beautiful hidden courtyard, excellent friendly service, and rich elegant food. A true delight each time we've been!

Soo charming and romantic – I really enjoyed my experience at Sociale. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list and gave great recommendations! We sat outside in the patio. It was very romantic and quaint. I would highly recommend this place for a date!
