Dr. Nadimi was great, and this review is specifically about my experience with the front desk staff. I called because I had an issue with my prescription and wanted to see if it could be resent. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was very aggressive and defensive. I was simply trying to explain what happened, but she repeatedly interrupted me and told me I needed to redo my exam, which was not true. SoCal Skin and Surgery is great. The staff is really nice and very communicative, especially through text. I see Dr. Wang and she is wonderful. She's very thorough and addresses any concerns I have. She spotted a basal cell carcinoma a few weeks ago that other dermos had missed (I've had it for years) . Luckily, they are slow growing and fairly common, but still not fun news to receive. Beware of their billing practices. I was quoted $150 out-of-pocket to remove a single milium, specifically because insurance would not cover it. I paid by card that day. I later learned they billed my insurance $289 for a separate office visit from that same appointment, which hit my deductible. My records show two notes for that one appointment: the milium procedure, signed the day of my visit, and a second note for facial acne, signed the following morning.
