Salad was a bagged salad thrown on a plate. The lasagna had hardly any meat in it and was smothered in this gross white cheese sauce and marinara. The noodles were undercooked and the cheese bread had been plunged into the sauce and became a soggy mess. The kids Mac and cheese was obviously scooped from something that's been sitting around all day. And the promised cookie was a dish of animal crackers. The food was really good, but for almost $11 to eat for just one person, I expected a lot more food. Serving sizes were very small.
I visited the Plainfield location this evening and must say, it is lovely. I had the opportunity to chat with one of owners who was an absolute pleasure. The food was great and the service outstanding. We will definitely be back!!
I had the special last night. It was a penne pasta, side salad, and bread with a drink. The side salad was just bagged lettuce with dressing. Cheese, croutons, maybe veggies would've been nice on the salad. The pasta was good but not enough sauce. I left half the pasta in the dish because the sauce was gone. The bread was really good!
Great food at a great price. Wonderful service as well.
