Snow Farm Vineyard began as a dream on the West Shore of South Hero, Vermont. In an effort to preserve Vermont's agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers, grapes were planted in the fields. Our location, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain permits us to grow cooler climate vinifera grapes, Pinot Noir and Riesling, as well as the more cold hardy French Hybrids, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. First time ever visiting Snow Farm. I was impressed with there selection and quality of there wine. I recommend the Rose Red. Can't wait to go back.
