We are one of the only locations in the U.S. where you are allowed to enter the natural springs and actually observe and interact with the manatees. Incredible experience for our family! Chris, Ron and rest of staff had great enthusiasm for their career with great knowledge about the entire ecosystem.
Had an amazing time with my family and Capt Rob swimming with the manatees! Capt Ron answers all our questions, and showed a respect for nature and these beautiful creatures! To be there, with them, in their environment, just as curious about you as you are about them, Magical!! Would highly recommend this, loved it!
What an amazing experience. The captains did an excellent job describing and explaining the trip. If you follow the rules of common sense and their advice, the manatees will approach you. I had the luck and excitement of touching 4! The tour did limit the number of people per boat but keep in mind there are multiple groups going and not all from the same company, it is in a public park. Went at 8am on 10/18 Captain Greig was excellent! We did have the boat to ourselves so got the chance to chat a bit more then normal. Nice tour of the sights and he was very knowledgeable about local wildlife. We would recommend this to anyone and while we did get very lucky with the amount of manatees we saw (even a baby!) it would still have been fun seeing less. Good job!
From the moment you arrive to when you leave, you are well taken care of. They explain interacting with the manatees and manatee behaviors. I had a blast, Capt Greg was full of knowledge and humor. It was definitely worth the very early morning start!
We had to cancel a booked tour due to reasons caused by hurricane. Captaine Gene was very supportive and understand our situation. Thank you!
