Homosassa Manatee Snorkeling Center is located in downtown Old Homosassa. We are one of the only locations in the U.S. where you are allowed to enter the natural springs and actually observe and interact with the manatees. Our amazing Florida manatees are here all year round. RecommendedI never thought I would get in the water let alone with these huge creatures but I did it and loved it! This was the highlight of my vacation. Captain Travis and Cherise (I hope I spelled that right) were fabulous! They couldn't have been nicer and more patient. They found a mom and baby manatee for us to snorkle with! It was the best experience my family has ever had! They really knew their stuff and were able to answer any questions we had! It was a great experience, we couldn't be happier! I will definitely come back during the colder season when there are more manatees to see!
The whole experience was unbelievable...Captain Bryan found plenty of manatees for us to swim with and was a wealth of knowledge!

My family and I had a great time there a couple of weeks ago. They were professional and knowledgeable. Our captain was great. Small boat, so it was just us. Definitely recommend! I would go back. Manatees were amazing. Sooo cool!
What an Adventure from beginning to end!! The Snorkel shop is clean and inviting with fun merchandise and clean bathrooms! Our Captain Laci was very experienced and well versed in manatees and the surrounding areas, she took us all around the river trying to find us the best experience and she succeeded!! We had the pleasure of swimming with one manatee for over an hour, she stayed and swam and played with our kids and our group, it was amazing!! I would highly recommend this adventure to all!!
