This is our favorite eatery in SLT, we drive up from Placerville from time to time. Burgers, we tried them all and they are all outstanding! They used to dip soft serve cones in chocolate and I would come just for those, but no more. I wish they would work out a solution. The fries are always done to perfection and we love the shakes! Yes 3 hour round trip every 2-3 months just for Sno-Flake? Absolutely! We have been fans for over 15 years 😎
Had a regular cheeseburger here the other day ...wow ! Perfectly cooked , nice size , fresh veggies and really tasty beef and a nice sesame seed bun to boot ! Loved it! It's a " Dinner " style burger ( Thin and grilled ) Delicious! I will be back to sample the fries and the other sandwiches too !
Really good food. New owners just seem to be a little more friendly. they need to realize that they own an iconic place that people have been going to for a long time. Still going to tell people to go there, just would be nice for it to feel more local and friendly.
We've been going here for decades and the burgers seem to have gotten smaller while the prices go up since the new ownership took over. $7-8 bucks for a small burger, and the quality isn't even close to what it use to be. Chili's $8 burger is over twice the size and the best quality beef. Kids burger meal is expensive as soon as you add cheese. Ice Cream is still very good but over priced. Our last visit unfortunately will be our last visit.
