Highly professional service in a salon with a great small town feel. The stylists listen to what you want and execute your cut / color perfectly. They took my hair from red to white blonde with no damage which is not easy to do. Kay is my stylist and she is very talented. I recommend Snips to everyone looking for expert service.
Worst. Haircut. Ever. Butchery at its worst. My hair has never looked this horrible, uneven, chopped, butchered, no style at all. I will never never never never never never ever return for any reason ever. Be very careful if you go there that you get an experienced stylist. I am taking more care writing this review on the worst haircut I have ever received in my life than the stylist did with my hair, and I had to pay $ 40 for the privilege of looking horrible for the next 4 or 5 weeks until it grows out.
It was a terrible salon. I had such high expectations and they were all under delivered. The salon was so dated I felt like I was in an 80s sitcom.
I went to snips to get an easy care haircut. I was not able to get my new haircut to work properly and noticed that the cut was uneven. When I called to ask them to check the cut they said it had been too long.
They give horrible perms. I wanted small rods because I know small rods holds the curls but the did not use the small rods and the curls did not hold and I still had to pay for the perm.
I was initially very excited about going to this salon. However, this salon has lived up to their reputation for being "Snippy" and unprofessional. This salon might be OK for a simple adult trim, but I would not recommend this salon for a child's cut. If you do decide to give Snips a try, avoid giving them your email address. Their promotional emails are full of grammatical errors and misspellings.
Great place, very comforted their. They make surely are happy. They listen to what you want. I totally recommend all I know to them.
Love Snips! – Jessica did a great job on my hair. My long hair was dyed with salon and CVS store bought product and she color corrected it and gave it a new cut and style. She was attentive and pleasant and everyone there was super friendly and helpful. I'm new to the Irvington area and was pleased to find a great salon within walking distance with great prices, hours and service along with a fun and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend this salon to both men and women. Loved it!
NURTURING ENVIRONMENT – THIS SALON IS UPSCALE BUT NOT PRETENTIOUS IN THE LEAST. THE STAFF IS WARM AND HELPFUL. THE ATMOSPHERE IS COMFORTABLE AND NURTURING LENDING ITSELF TO A TOTALLY RELAXING EXPERIENCE.
