A little boys haircut takes at least 15-20 min. That's not including the consultation and getting the child to calm down, sit still etc. I know this because I used to do hair. Although i could cut my childrens hair myslef, I always bring my children to Snip-its because they are great with my children. They are patient, calming and my kids always get a great haircut while having fun. I was not pleased. I took my daughter here for a haircut, asked the stylist to shape up her a-line bob, and what I got was a few snips (uneven at that), and then not even styling the hair at the end. We left with a wet mop that was hardly different than what we came in with. Everyone (front desk, stylists) seemed uninterested in their jobs. The woman at the front desk kept in referring to my daughter as "he" or "him" even though I corrected her multiple times. The haircuts are usually OK. A few of the stylists are very good, and excellent with kids. A few have very sour personalities - does not seem like they want to be there. Especially the front desk person - not very nice at all. My problem with them is not the quality of the service, but the attitude. I don't think I will be bringing my son back there anymore.
