Very nice place. Steak was good! I wish we'd been there in the daylight as the view earlier of the Mississippi River was fantastic while driving in.
Enjoyed food and drink and the river veiw was great. I will be back again as I have been for the last twenty or so years.
Normally, this place gets 4 stars from me. However, honestly, for the first time in the ten years I've been going there, it was a really bad experience. very understaffed. unfortunately for the two servers, they ended up with three large parties so the rest of the diners (that's us!) suffered accordingly. Also, my steak went from medium rare on the left side to completely burned on the right. To be fair, they did not charge me for my meal. The waitress were not very attentive to needs of Coustomer. Refills and additional drinks were not asked if they were wanted . I had a New York strip . Way to much fat and grizel for my liking, fat should have been trimmed then the steak would have way undersized . Yes I was disappointed and it will take some time to return. Sorry you sold me the meal .
If there was zero rating, that is what I would give our experience. The plastic tableclothes should have beena clue. There were seven of us, so we were seated at table with benches. Not exactly relaxing. Ordered Steaks. Husband and son ordered same steak. Son's was twice the size. Not one of our steaks were prepared as ordered. There were more flies than patrons and my husband quit eating because of them so he could leave. Staff not really friendly. Awful experience.
Hubby had the gourmet blue cheese burger, it was excellent. I had the grilled chicken wrap, it was delicious. Large portions. Highly recommend.
Good place to eat friendly crew very interesting history with neck tie story definitely would go back
