Neat place. It was like stepping back in time on a pirate ship or into a pirates cave. But if you are coming here to drink don't bother. It took 30 minutes to get a drink while trying to make our way up to the bar. They have a bar back that stands around and watches while he isn't picking up dirty glasses but don't bother to ask him for anything. That's not his job. First time in to Smuggler's Cove last night and it will surely become a regular stop when we stay in SF in the future! Had a bunch of great rum drinks, found a new favorite that used to be a featured cocktail at The Lanai in San Mateo. Our bartender at the Cove, Steven, is friendly and talkative, and he's got an amazing talent for concocting the insane number of drinks presented in the large bar menu of cocktails.
