Had the chance to visit again last night while we were in town. The drinks were awesome and loved how laid back the environment was. Only bummer - they ran out of mugs to sell....again�. I'll be back!

Martin Cate is a genius. This is easily one of the best bars in SF, and probably the world. It's not a club. There's no music. It's not for big crowds of frat-kids who want to howl and harass. It's a jewel worthy of respect. It's an intimate space with a dedicated mission-\-\to bring you the best array of rums in the world. It's a shrine of tiki culture, in its pure, unadulterated form.
