Authentically good BBQ & southern food with a flair. If it's legal, we'll smoQ it! In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

Awful experience. Came here when it first opened and it was excellent. Took an hour to get food. No customer service offered.for the wait. Ended up just taking food home for it not to be cooked properly. Food and service has went down hill and prices have went up. And I've noticed all the good reviews were from 2014.
Enjoyed SmoQ Restaurant again today and had an awesome time!!!!! Food was incredible, friendly staff, great atmosphere, service the absolute best!!! We even met the chef/owner today and heard the story of how SmoQ began. If you haven't eaten there yet, please go and check them out!!!! If you've eaten there before, go back to see them!!! I know I will!!!! Thank you SmoQ for the labor of love that is expressed in the food you present and the service you provide!!!!!
Food was inedible. Service was terrific and staff was friendly.
What has happened to this place? I've been here several times, in fact, had my 50th birthday celebration there. But last night was not a good experience. My food looked like it had been microwaved, the portions were much smaller than before and quite frankly didnt taste very well. My server seemed a bit impatient with us, but I excused that because it was kind of crowded. But, I don't think I will be back and that makes me sad because I used to really like Smoq.
Food is out of this world! You won't be disappointed. Try the Bologna Sandwich, Wings, Flash Fried Ribs (Who does that?, Red Beans and Rice and Cheddar-Bacon Grits!
I've been coming to SmoQ since the first week they opened. I haven't had a bad meal yet ! The slaw is to die for and their ribs are the best I've ever had ! The owner always goes out of his way to make sure you are having the ultimate dining experience.
Something about this place has changed. We used to love eating here. But the last two times we did, we were so disappointed. And someone I know went the other day. She was half surprised and half concerned the restaurant wasn't packed on a Saturday night. When she had to send her son's undercooked chicken back, she understood. Please go back to what you were doing when you first opened! The quality of the food was so much better.
Food is amazinggggg! Good food and awesome people!
I went a couple times while we were up in Ohio and really enjoyed the good ! Loved my sweet potatoes and ribs! Service was also good!
