I don't support companies with racist owners. How despicable!
When I worked for Smoothie King no one threatened to fire me for wearing a happy birthday pin. And I’m pretty sure we had pins FROM smoothie king promoting different smoothies as well as pins for holidays. We wore bracelets, keychains, and printed socks. I don’t remember, nor do I know if it was/is allowed, but it’s clear that he did not ask her to take it down because of “dress code” violation.
RecommendedI have always enjoyed our local smoothie king. I have always had great service and products. I do NOT believe that requiring your employees to follow uniform guidelines, which I hope would not contain anything political, is being racist. If you allow your employees to wear BLM pins then your going to have to let others wear their MAGA gear. So either way your going to make someone unhappy. Better to not wear anything political at all. Work is work it’s not the place to make a statement!!!!!! PERIOD

Threatened to fire a young girl for supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Disgusting management. What a shame.
This location is the slowest I have ever patronized. There are typically 3 employees working, but they are not able to keep up with the high demand. The quality of the smoothies is amazing and why I continue to patronize this location, but they really need more employees or more blenders. I waited over an hour in the drive-thru tp get 2 smoothies today. That is outrageous and unacceptable.
