We were on the way home from FL and wanted to stop and stay in Gatlinburg overnight and were able to get a room for one night ( the clerk said it was normally 2 night min) The rooms were spacious- large bathroom, great location The only problem we had was the bathtub was not draining properly. Would stay again!
This is the best place in Gatlinburg to stay if I cant stay Hrer then I will change my schedule to get the room I want here in is awsome and we will return every year.

Smokyland Motel has been our favorite place to stay for years! When our daughters were younger, we loved sitting our on the balcony and watching the traffic and the tourists walk through Gatlinburg. We now travel without children, but we still enjoy the balcony in the evenings. We always try to stay at Smokyland when we are in Gatlinburg.IT IS THE BEST!!!!!
Close to everything. I have married into this tridition of going to Gatlinbure for Halloween and feel that it is a great place for me and my family to celabrate this time of year.And we love the mountains and Tn.
This is a great place to stay! within walking distance of everything, very clean rooms and the bed was great!!
Ive stayded at a lot of motels and hotels but Ive never had the night clerk threaten to call the police on me and have me removed , Because I called to complain about the light,s going out and no hot water. And I was paying 100.00 per night.
This motel is awesome! It is placed right in the middle of everything that Gatlinburg has to offer!! The rooms are clean and spacious! I cant say enough about the location of this motel, we stayed here 3/24-3/26/2006 it snowed and was quite chilly, but we would walk a bit, and go back to the room warm up and walk some more. Its about a block from the sky lift, next door to Shoneys, across the street from a mini-golf, blacklight golf, and so much more! We will defently stay here again!!!!
My family has been staying at the Smokeyland motel for the past few seasons. We enjoy the convenience,and reasonable price. We had a large party last trip and when one member got to the room, he found animal feces in the bathroom. The owner was very apologetic and immediately cleaned the room. However the manager JOHN was very rude and accused out party of having a pet and that we had been responsible for the incident(we do not travel with pets).
