My family had reservation for new years with my mother who is dying with cancer. when we arrived the manager said she didnt have our reservations, they had gotten new computer system and we must have been put in, she didnt offer any help , the only thing she offered was to call the police, I had to go find rooms , which was ver hard, then when we got home the manger had left a message on my ansering machine that she was holding ourroom and needed to call. Close to everything. I have married into this tridition of going to Gatlinbure for Halloween and feel that it is a great place for me and my family to celabrate this time of year.And we love the mountains and Tn.
This is the best place in Gatlinburg to stay if I cant stay Hrer then I will change my schedule to get the room I want here in is awsome and we will return every year.
Horrible service and not only did i pay in cash they also charged my credit card, it is now two months later and i have yet to be reimbursed. Please just look around a little before staying here you will be glad you did
IN MAY OF 2007 MY MOTHER, 2 SISTERS, AND I, MADE IT 10 YEARS IN A ROW!!! WE STAY HERE EVERY YEAR FOR MOTHERS DAY IN THE FRONT BALCONY ROOMS AND WE LOVE IT! CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
My husband and I stayed at Smokyland In Feb. 2010..We thought it was great we had a queen suite with a Jacuzzi, the room had been newly renovated..The service was great and the guy at the front desk was great, very friendly..It was in walking distance to everything..It is located in the middle of Gatlinburg..We went back in June 2010 and again stayed at Smokyland we then got a King suite room.."It was Great"..It also was renovated. Would highly suggest this place to anyone..We will stay here every visit to Gatlinburg, TN.
just returned from Gatlinburg and the Smokyland Motel. great location,very nice place My room was on River Road side up stair and I loved it. The service was great. Brittany at the front desk, was so nice and kind to us very helpful. Can not wait to get back and stay with you. thanks from Kentucky 6/20/05
We stayed at smokyland motel for the pass four years on vaction. We have always got good service and the room are always clean. My husband love to sat on the bancony over the parkway. And we are getting ready to go back in about three weeks cant wait to we get there.
This is motel is very clean and close to attraction in walking distance. I plan I returning to the motel to stay again for my next vacation in Gatlinburg.
