I highly recommend stopping here if you are in Estes Park, or near their other location in Lyons for that matter. The proportions, depending on what you order, are more than enough. We ended up taking most of our desserts and part of dinner back to the hotel with us. And nothing against the Famous Dave's chain, because they also have amazing food, but Smokin' Dave's might have beat you this time as far as the meat is concerned... Delish!
We visit Smokin' Dave's every time we're in the area. Wife and I usually split an entree and maybe an appetizer or dessert and it is usually plenty. The ribs are top notch, the pulled pork is good and the bread pudding is the best I've had outside New Orleans.

Very disappointed! We've been here several times and the food was outstanding. However, today was very disappointing. We ordered the barbecue for 2. The pulled pork and beef rib were cold. The cole slaw was a spoonful. The corn muffin was a bite full. Too bad, we were really looking forward to some good barbecue and we left still hungry.
I have been around smoked meat and BBQ my whole life, this stuff is top notch! A must stop place in estes and great staff!
I'm from Texas and this was by far the BEST barbecue I've ever had in my whole life. We visited for our honeymoon in August and now I'm 3.5 months pregnant and currently craving this deliciousness!
Great people and great food. The brisket nachos were awesome but the staff is even better. Thanks for taking good care of us. :)
I thought it was great! Brisket was so tender, the baked beans were delightful, but my favorite was the reuben sandwich!!!
