I tried the Philly Sandwich at Smokie's tonight and realized how much I had been missing! Delicious way to enjoy a steak. Shaved prime beef w/ mushrooms, onions and mild peppers topped with melted cheese served open-faced on a baguette. Speaking of Steaks, my husband ordered one and, for a change, it was made to his specifications. Lately, some places we'd been make a medium well, too dry inside. This one was still juicy. The bread, butter, beer, onion rings, deep fried zucchini, mushrooms, potato skins, turkey Ruben and carrot cake for dessert... it was so good � What a great place to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary!

Excellent service, veggies we're really great, but the cut of ribeye was just ok. But prepared to order, and had good flavor.

Well the server was not the best she just honeybadgered it!! While the fish was awesome I ordered the Garlic Shrimp, the menu said it was a pesto sauce yet it was marinara!! Hmm when we asked the waitress she said they don't even have a pesto sauce in the back so we must have read it wrong!! Umm checked the menu...still says pesto sauce!! Egads!!
The waitress had a great smile with a friendly greeting. Service was 5 star. I had the perch, sweet potato casserole plus the salad and rolls. All the food was cooked to perfection and served attractively. The wine was great also. No complaints whatsoever.
