We are grill masters who respect the power of the open flame. We like simple, yet flavorful recipes and believe marinating is not to be taken lightly. The service was very good the food was excellent my only complaint was it was NFL Sunday all most all the TV's were on one game there were 3 other games being played but I would definitely go back

My main home is in Lakeland an I frequently as in two or three times a week go to the smokey bones on north 98. I've just purchased a second home in Tyrone area an the closest smokey bones is the Clearwater location. Food is great but as for the atmosphere as in the loud ass music witch was absolutely ridiculous it sucked. We literally had to yell over the bar to the bar tender to place our order. I work for the Brian Cash Claus Coupon Book and I eat at many places but Smokey Bones is the best place I have ever eaten at. Smokey Bones does not advertise with us so I posted this just because they're that good.
The ribs are always perfect and excellent -the burgers are a 2 thumbs up and the pulled pork is a winner !
the bartenders are awesome, nice group of customers. plus the food is so good. I make sure i come every time Im down here for vacation.

Went yesterday Dec 1. We went to get their prime rib special, sold out. Ordered sirloin instead with loaded baked potato. After 10 mins waitress came and said they were out of potatoes and it would take 20 to get them. Then the steaks were placed on the table. Should have left. Grandma's 94th birthday dinner was terrible.

We all loved the food and restaurant. On our way home from family vacation. Great waiter too.
I have dined many times here and every single time the food was amazing!. Thier sweet cornbread appetizer was so delicious to start my meal. My husband and I think thier ribs are the best in town! They fall off the bone and melt in your mouth! I always recommend Smokey Bones to all my friends and family.
