My wife and I used to love smokey bones but the one in plantation really sucks for take out. Granted if you eat there, the food is still good so I'm giving 2 stars - but don't even bother trying to order online for pickup. Ever since my son was born I've tried to order food from local establishments since it's hard to take him to a dinner and I've been burned by smokeys plantation multiple times now. I drove all the way from Miami to your place. It was well worth the drive. We had the ribs and oommggggg they were finger licking good! I will definitely be back here again!
The food here was absolutely horrible. I ordered the Mac and Cheese and the Macaroni wasn't cooked all the way. It tasted like rubber. The chicken I got on top of my macaroni and cheese tasted like something you would get @ a baseball stadium. (Horrible). My girlfriend had the Salmon, broccoli, and onion rings. The salmon was so dry we sent it back and didn't request another portion, the broccoli was cooked in a slime of butter (Not Steamed), and the onion rings were cold. Thursday night I went in for a meal and bought a Smoked Salmon with Steamed Broccoli and Dirty Rice.... The food was amazingly Delicious and the people were extremely nice and helpful... Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Plantation FL will continue to have my business and I'd like for everyone that reads this go their and enjoy the food and entertainment.
Prices are high. $15 for pulled pork nachos. Sides were ehhh... Fire roasted corn is like canned corn with some salsa poured into a burning pan for 3 minutes. Baked potato was smallish and hard. But the worst was my $26 prime rib. First bite was okay. Second bite was a chunk of gristle and 3rd bite had a pinky tip shard of sharp bone that sliced my inner cheek!!! Manager did not even apologize. ...WHY ASK HOW IS EVERYTHING? IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO CORRECT MISTAKES AND APOLOGIZE!!!!
This place really used to be great. It has gone down hill. Service was horrible and the bathroom was a disaster. Last Visit for me
they didn't have baby back ribs. really! i was very disappointed.
