The food at Smoke House was enjoyable, but sadly, my interaction with the waitress, Averie, was quite disappointing. She was impolite and made me feel uneasy during my time there. She leaned over my meal, bumped my shoulder with a wooden board, and got BBQ sauce on my sweater. To top it off, she handled my drink by the rim and shifted it, which I considered very unsanitary and disrespectful. I ordered the BBQ chicken bowl shown in the picture. It tasted good but I did not get any pickled red onions, scallions or what is in the metal cup. 😞
The tacos were packed with flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh, and I’d definitely order them again.
