Amazing place beef rib out of sight

Worse BBQ I ever tried ........was told the baby back ribs and burnt ends were good. Meat tough....sauce was tasteless
Visiting from southern Wisconsin and had to try the KC BBQ. Smokehouse BBQ was recommended. Food was great, burnt ends were outstanding and portions were good size. Service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Have been going to the original smokehouse on north oak for years and always been satisfied. Decided to go to the Zona Rosa location tonight and had a terrible experience. Service was terrible and portion size was terrible! I ordered the Gladstoner sandwich and only got 12 fries. Between my girlfriend and I our tab was 32.00 and I left still hungry. Lost all my faith in smokehouse after this, I recommend everyone to drive the extra 5 minutes to smokebox on Tiffany Springs
Very poor service. Wait staff was joking around right next to my table. Burnt ends were so so as were the beans. The barbeque sauce tasted like ketchup. The sweet potato fries were good. Will not be coming back.
Smokehouse Zona Rosa last night. Left after an hour and a half and three tables who sat down after we ordered were served and we still did not have our order. To the credit of the store in Gladstone, we stopped by there on the way back to the motel and the experience there was a joy. Zona Rosa needs a full staff change and they need to be trained by Gladstone. But for them I would never darken your doors again.
Something has changednrecently and it is not a change for the better. For years I loved this place. My family and I went to all locations several times a year. Family outings, birthdays, and employee gatherings, NEVER AGAIN. For years I would always recommend them, NEVER AGAIN. What was great for years has become very unsatisfactory the last several months. Smokehouse BBQ was not good at all to me they boil the ribs in some parts of the ribs are very hard and it's very well overpriced!!!
