The staff at Smith really go above and beyond--even if you do not live in the building! I had not lived at 20 N Blair for over seven years. Despite this fact, when two of my packages were sent there by mistake, Chris and the other staff took it upon themselves to send them to me immediately, as soon as I contacted them. I was so worried when I called that they would say there was nothing they could do! But they went out of their way to make two different trips to USPS and get my packages to me ASAP. They don't pick the calls
Edit (2023): Moved out of my 1bd at 134 N Orchard St in August 2023 and have even more compliments for Smith Management than my original post. I received my security deposit back less than 2 weeks after the end of my lease with no deductions. During my lease, I had some maintenance concerns with older appliances and blinds. Not only did Smith address these promptly, they installed brand new replacement stove, fridge, and window coverings. I lived at the Diplomat for three years and never had a problem with Smith Management. Maintenance requests were quickly fulfilled, email responses were always fast. And I got back my full security deposit from both units I lived in. Would definitely live in a Smith Management property again if given the chance.
