I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, communication with the salon is horrible. I began by trying to make an appointment in early April for May 30th. When you call a business the expectation is to speak with a person. I couldn’t book the appointment online because it appeared as if no appointments were available until 2026. Where do I even start! I got the “My very First Silk Press Package”. I had no idea that my hair would be severely damaged as a result as my hair was already not in the best condition and my ends were in need of a nice trim. I was put under that steamer for about an hour and 25 minutes. My hair was DAMAGED y’all. I didn’t even know that a steamer could cause heat damage and apparently being professionals they didn’t either. You’re only supposed to be steamed for about a half hour. I had set an appointment on my birthday and when I went to the salon no one was there but the doors were open. Super confusing no one showed up after 30 minutes, I even came back after a few hours and now one was there. I ended up being able to go to another Hair Salon altogether. Then I got a text from the stylist I booked that she had no idea she had an appointment. This was a few days ago. I asked for a refund (of my deposit) I’m still patiently waiting for it.
