I only gave one star because I had to in order to leave a comment. The manager there has a terrible disposition and lacks the experience necessary to work in a community of people who are of mixed race. I went in for highlights....smh. She told me that she had no idea how my hair would turn out because it was dyed dark, which is my natural hair color, and made the most disgusting faces as she talked at me, not to me. I stopped in to have my hair curled. The girl standing outside told me the price was 19.95. My hair was down so she saw the length. We went in and she curled my hair. It took about 10 minutes. She then charged me for long length which was an extra 10 dollars so with tip it ended up being 34.95. If she saw my length when I walked up and asked the price, why not just tell me right there, we are going to charge you extra 10 for your hair being just past your shoulders. This poor salon just can't catch a break. Bad management and inexperienced Stylist have given this salon a bad reputation.

Lisa did a remarkable job on my hair. I highly recommend her and all the girls at SmartStyles, they pay close attention to the details and always asked if I was comfortable through the whole process. I give Lisa and SmartStyles an A+. Thank you for making me look remarkable, Mark
