Dr. Slusher was highly recommended by a friend and was my husband’s family’s physician for several years. The visit was very pleasant, no waiting. My cataract surgery on both eyes was painless and very successful .Dr. Slusher and his staff are very caring, patient and informative. I highly recommend him and his staff
Office staff members are very welcoming and appointments are kept in a timely manner. Office is always clean and inviting. I consider Dr. Slusher a true professional. He is very attentive to his patients needs and his knowledge and work ethics are highly commendable.
The worst experience I have ever had in a medical environment. The Office Manager was extremely rude and the Doctor was so unprofessional to the point I called off the procedure to remove my cataracts after completing the pre-op measurements for the surgery. When asked to speak to the Doctor, I waited for over an hour and then was told by a young medical assistant that Norman would not meet with me with no reason given.
I would give him 1 star, he gave me the wrong contact lens + eye glass prescription, 2 x , paid $85.00 for refraction! very high!!! ordered CL, but didn't fit,and I had to go to emergency eye dr. while traveling, because I couldn't see when driving. Pushes cataract surgery, repeatedly!!
The visit with the physician was fine however, they will not bill correctly and the staff member by the name of Robin, she stated she was the office manager, will provide you with the rudest service. She refuses to correct a billing mistake and then will be derogatory over the phone when you call to inquire about that mistake. Her exact words were, "You can't keep calling us every day. We will get to it when we get to it." Go to an office where you will have more professional staff. Would absolutely NOT recommend!
I've seen Dr. Slusher at least 5 times. He is barely friendly and not particularly informative. He usually comes in briefly after his helpers have done all the preliminary work. I'm not impressed.
Cataracts removed and vision is again perfect. So thankful for such skilled doctors available where I live
Doesn't deserve 1 star! I made sure that they understood I had suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm 2014. Dr. Slusher checked my eyes, told me he couldn't help me, and walked out of the room. He said, "You have a brain problem, not an eye problem." REALLY?!?! It turns out there are lots of doctors, programs, treatments, and therapies for vision problems after a TBI. He could have helped me, but chose not to. He just walked out and left me feeling hopeless and crying. Shame on you Dr. Slusher!!
Made an appointment, asked if he did a particular surgery, was told by staff he did, went and was told by Dr. Slusher he could not help me. Dr. does not have a bed side manner. Billed me for an emergency visit. Staff is unhelpful and will not adjust my bill.
