I went about 3 pm I was seated right away of course it was an off peak time. I had the beef brisket wowwwwwwww. Its off the map , I ordered pulled pork to go it was very tasty but greasy and fatty , Im impressed with the seasoning the food has soul the Briskett was very moist , the best thing that I ate there was the green beans they put onions in them and a special seasoning . The Mac and cheese was killer. The staff is super nice and parking was convenient.

I'll start with the only negative comments-parking & they need to expand...AGAIN! But that's compliments to the great customer service! Business is obviously doing great to have customers waiting so long & to be so crowded almost all the time! Now for the positive comments-EVERYTHING ELSE!! The best brisket I have ever had. The food was amazing and the beer selection is excellent! I would recommend hands down to anyone that enjoys barbecue!
Great food, atmosphere and employees. We had to wait 45 mins for a table on a Saturday at three in the afternoon and didn't mind one bit. We try to visit every time we are in Detroit.
I have come to Slow's a few times in the last 5 years or so and am never disappointed. This time we ate at the bar and James helped us the whole evening. He is the epitome of great service with recommendations for beer, food combinations, desserts, everything. He was always smiling and is one of the best bartenders I have had the pleasure to meet. Five stars to the food, five stars to the service!
Great food and great staff! Kids loved it too. Had the beef brisket with corn bread and mashed sweet potatoes.
Managed to get a couple of seats at the bar on a busy Saturday evening and was delighted by the beer selection, knowledgeable and attentive staff, and food that did not disappoint. This place is a gem
I live in Toledo, Ohio and no trip to Detroit is complete without a trip to Slows. The bar is phenomenal, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is joygasmic. Expect a long wait if you go during peak times, but it is WORTH the wait!
