Compelled to give Kenny, Justin, Greg, and Sean (sp?) a major shout-out! I've been a longtime fan of Slows since circa '05, and still can't get enough of the joint. Luckily, we've got one in Grand Rapids now. What was supposed to be a no-frills casual meal out with my wife on 7.22.17 while in Detroit to celebrate our 7th anniversary turned out to be a warmly hospitable, memorable experience thanks to those four guys. Cheers to them!
Excellent food. I have eaten at BBQ places down South and this is just as good if not better than in the south.

Everything was excellent clean good on time .. my family comes from Los Angeles California to Detroit for their barbecue ribs and sandwiches
BBQ perfection! The pulled pork and brisket were my favorites, cheesiest of the cheesy mac and cheese, and fabulous cole slaw, can't wait to come back!
Great food, great service, long waits. I feel like people outside of big cities like Chicago, New York and L.A. forget that wait times to get seated can be easily an hour or two for a place serving food as good as Slows. Guys, we're lucky it's not by reservation only...
Please open in the U.K. ..you guys would kill it! 5 Stars all day long!
