If I could give 0 stars I would. The same exact thing that happened to everyone else - the stalking while we were shopping and rude demeanor - happened to us today. Plus the fact that when you have the cutest puppy in the world and someone doesn't want to pet her (a pet store owner) there must be something wrong with them. Had a horrible experience today 4 days before xmas. My dog tinkled and she reprimanded me and my 2 lb. chihuahua who i had bought his sweater he was wearing from her store. ... Anyway she told me my dog peed on a corner of a table.. Here is a tissue .. clean it up.. and you have to go outside because there is no garbage can in store.. She was asking me to leave ..and no garbage can outside.. i was a teacher in high school for for 13 years and can't remember being as humiliated by any adult in 20 years.. I was walking around saratoga with my mother and sisters. We had already visited another pet store very similar to sloppy kisses and had a GREAT experience but all 4 of us have dogs and I specifically was looking for sweaters to purchase for my dogs (3 pugs) but I needed to show my husband what try looked like before I spent 150 dollars on DOG SWEATERS. Saratoga is a great pet friendly place but everyone knows that the owner of Sloppy Kisses is extremely RUDE. I would never suggest shopping there and everyone I've ever asked talked to about sloppy kisses has said the same thing. As a true dog lover I've given them a few chances and every time was worse than the last. UNBELIEVABLY RUDE RUDE RUDE
This was by far the WORST customer experience my mother and I have ever come across. I have never written a business review before, and this experience was so bad that I HAD TO. It was also the kind of experience that kept haunting us the rest of the day because we could not believe HOW rude someone could be. 12/27/10 - A dusting of snow AND this business is CLOSED! I guess they will be open again in the spring. I took three of my dogs up to be fitted wth sweaters (left two at home) and the place was CLOSED. They lost a lot of business and I will certainly not go there again or have a kind word as I made a special trip as I was on vacation. Oh well, guess they don't want to stay in business very long.
