We love the catfish, meatloaf, veggies and marvelous chocolate cake made by Ms. Betty and staff. Also love great service by Peggy!
Our first experience was great. Food was wonderful and not your ordinary place to eat. The choices were great something for everyone. Thanks for the hospitality.
My husband and I ate there yesterday! We both had the fried catfish. It was delicious! All the sides we had were very good too. There was no wait time and the service was excellent!! We will definitely be going back soon!

Southern dishes cooked to order. Great service! Usually busy and daily specials usually sell out, so order dessert first if there's something on the daily menu you really want.

Recently took a moving cross country trip from California to South Carolina and passing through Tennessee we stopped at Sling shot Charlie’s and it was amazing nothing like we expected. I am definitely returning and my grandmother and I highly recommend this place also the Ribeye is amazing.
This place is ridiculous. It's 85 degrees in here. All of the waitresses are sweating. We have been waiting for almost an hour in this heat and still don't have our food. I won't comment on the food since we haven't gotten it yet. It really doesn't matter if it's the best thing I've ever had you shouldn't have to sweat when you go out to eat. And you shouldn't have to worry about the cooks sweating in your food. We won't be back!
