Today was my FIRST time “sliding” off into Slide Cafe, and let me just say, it was DELICIOUS‼️‼️ I ordered the Strawberries & Cream Waffle with fried chicken wings, and I cleaned the PLATE!!!! Their waffle recipe is unlike any waffle I’ve tasted before-it was like a comfort food that made me happier and happier with every bite! That strawberry syrup and cream made it delectable!!! Slide Café in downtown Birmingham was such a fun brunch experience and definitely lives up to the hype‼️ From the moment we walked in, I knew this wasn’t your average brunch spot. One of my favorite touches was the employee greeting us with, “Is this your first time sliding?” It immediately set the tone for a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
