Was nice. People are friendly. Bartenders are slow and not very knowledgeable. Grounds are pretty. Hotel lobby and staff nice. Rooms are nothing to write home about definitely need updated and a splash of color.

I've never stayed here but as an account manager I got switched over to take care of all accounts in texas. The first person who stood out to me was Justin. He reminded me of a customer I had in South dakota. Just the way he would talk on the phone and laugh and joke with his coworkers really stood out to me. I wish I had more customers like him who are fun to work with and make the time pass at a long day off work just to talk about where he's from and how I should take a trip to texas. I recently just stayed at the Horseshoe Bay Resort and it wasn't everything that I expected. First when I made my booking I was told the money would be taken out of my account two days before my stay, then when I get to the resort, I am told that they are initially charging my credit card $290 in case of accidents or other nonsense that the front desk couldn't give me details on. Then I have to wait 3-5 business days to get almost $200 back in my account. This should of been stated during my booking. The hotel needs to be up... read more
