So I stayed here over the weekend and was a good experience to spend time with the family. The resort is nice, 18 hole golf is lovely with the kiddos and swimming is always fun.....but.....Rooms definitely need to be updated. Also, upon checking out we were asked to pay a $29 resort fee..... I asked what it was for and she answered (the free parking, free tram ride to marina and yacht club, free wi-fi, free coffee in the room) lol not sure what to say but it's not a bad price for free😉
Horseshoe Bay was not prepared for the 2017 Spring Break crowd. People arrived at check in 4 pm and waited 2-3 hours for their room,they ran out of pizza on the kids buffet, they had new wait staff 2 -3 days on the payroll. The hot tub in the main pool was broken the first day. The up scale brunch at the yacht club was disappointing because you had to wait 15 min to even get a cup of coffee. We have been to HSB in the past during the summer months but I would not recommend it for Spring Break. The issue is don't promote your... read more
The staff was awesome! Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and kind. Excellent service. Great guests as well. The food was top notch and our room with lake view was very nice. Very enjoyable vacation!
Beautiful resort with lots of family activities. Always love the lovely gardens. The people are so nice!
