My overall experience was excellent. I had to be admitted to Emergency via Ambulance and my care and treatment was excellent.
Went in for shortness of breath and discovered I had a minor heart attack. The staff was fabulous the staff was very caring and very supportive and very knowledgeable of my condition and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and outstanding crew that they have in the cardiac Department I will definitely recommend people to go there very loving experience.
My son had his appendix removed yesterday and all of the staff (registration, nurses and doctors) were all amazing. The ER staff, pre-op/post-op nurses, nurses on the 5th floor and Dr. Waring and Dr. Davenport - all amazing and so nice and accommodating. Thank you to all of them!

I've been to Lutheran Hospital many times for many different things. Some visits to ER. Some for tests. Every time I am there I was treated with kindness, caring and respect. This Includes me having no insurance, still treated the same as if I walked in with a Platinum American Express card! Doctors, Nurses, Adminstration, Triage, Everyone......is so courtious, friendly, helpful and caring If you need to pick a hospital to go to......this is the place. Even if you live far. It doesn't matter where you go there will always be a few people that act like A-HOLES and just can't be pleasant. But that didn't make for a unpleasant stay. I had back surgery and this was my 2nd back surgery at this hospital and the staff both time has been great. All the nurses are cheerful and have great since of humor. So you can't let a very few of the get you down cause most of the nurses can usually cheer you up. And if I have an future surgery this will be my 1st choice of a hospital.
