I had to take my mother to Baptist South last summer, when she was having some cardiac issues. When we arrived we were quickly taken through he ER and seen multiple medical team members and a physician quickly and professionally. Her care was amazing and comprehensive. She still talks about her friendly nurses, professional doctors and just the overall care she received at South. AllI can say, if you need a place with not only exceptional care, but compassionate care, I recommend Baptist South.
Had minor surgery today on my sinuses and ears. I’m doing great thanks to the staff at Baptist Medical Center South. I was impressed with everyone there. They were professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and attentive. A big shout out to the doctor and staff, I’m very grateful to you for making this experience as easy as possible!
The ER was quick, even though there may have been other factors that affected that wait time.

I very strongly do not recommend Baptist ENT. The doctor did nothing for my pain, talked to me like I was crazy since he couldn't find any medical reason for it, and charged me $100 the day of so I thought we were settled up. But then I got a bill in the mail for another $414. My bad for not asking first if there were extra charges for the "standard hearing test" but I was in pain and doing what the doctor said he thought would help. I live 5 minutes from your hospital, but you are "out-of-network" for Florida Blue/Blue Select customers, but all of the other Baptist hospitals are in-network which I can use are so far away from where I live which are, " (Baptist-Beaches), (Baptist-Downtown) and (Baptist-Clay)! That's ridiculous! I have had Florida Blue insurance for 4 years now and nothing changes. So if I need a hospital I need to drive to One of your other hospitals or St. Vincents on Belfort. I will give your hospital 5 Stars when Baptist South decides... read more
