Slavic is ABSOLUTELY horrible!!! Apparently my prior employer's HR company didn't notify Slavic that I was no longer employed with the company so I was only given the option of taking a withdrawal based on a "Disability" rather than "Termination" so I could initiate a rollover. I informed the HR company that Slavic was missing this information and they got Slavic the information the SAME day, yet it's still almost 2 weeks later and Slavic STILL hasn't updated their system to give me a "Termination" option. It's just absurd t... read more

This is the worst financial institution I've ever dealt with. I transferred money into it from another plan yet they didn't deposit it into my account for 4 weeks. This happened twice. They admitted they had the check in hand but per their policy they had up to 10 days to deposit (which they far exceeded). I have a loan through them that I want to pay off but they don't accept EFT. They want a money order. Another delay tactic and huge inconvenience. I can't wait for my employer to ditch them for our 401k plan.

Awful company, requested a 401k loan (medical) to pay for medical bills /surgery( unable to walk for over three months) etc. It was denied and I was told that the only way I could access my money was to quit my job and then pay taxes on it. So, I quit my job and then was told I had to wait three weeks to even request the distribution, did that and now they say it will be another 3 weeks to process and get me my money to pay bills. I have a friend who requested a hardship loan with her 401k, was approved in a day and she rec... read more

Do not use this company! THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! They need to shut down! A 401K is design for you to save money and save taxes while doing so. I joined Slavic401k with my job. I wanted to lower my taxes. There were 4 contributions taken out of my paycheck. My pay stub indicated the amount that was sent to Slavic401K. When I logged into my portal it was 3 payments short. When I finally got a chance to speak to someone , they didn't know where the funds were and told me to ask my HR dept. My HR department told me... read more

Less than one star. I have been in the position (company CFO) where I had to make the decision about what 401k company to use - stay away from SLAVIC401k. They do not care about your employees. I retired from my employer and wanted to move my Slavic401k - pretax as a distribution to me and ROTH to my investment company, Fidelity. I called and spoke to a Slavic representative (which took several calls as they do not return calls) and completed their form as instructed. Their form is not intuitive, so beware. They transferre... read more

When I heard my employer was switching to Slavic 401K I looked them up and read the reviews. I couldn't believe what I was reading. They had the most terrible reviews that anyone could get, and I was very angry we were moving our funds there. After about four months I filed for an in service distribution to see how true it was, and since I was old enough to do it, why not. To my surprise it went down without a hitch. I got my money within seventeen days total. They must have read the same reviews and changed their ways. I am... read more

My withdrawal was approved and was said to be over nighted, which I paid $25 more for. That was 11 days ago. I waited on hold for 1-1.5 hours 3 times since Friday (Monday now) to be told it’s not on the overnight list, the request has been elevated, and I’ll get a call when there’s an answer. Obviously I’m experiencing a hardship and need MY money. Note, over the past few weeks I‘ve called several times, waited on hold, and I’ve spoken to the same 3 people. I’m fairly sure that they are the only 3 working. Thanks, 3 people w... read more

I have never had such terrible customer service, it's worse than Spirit Airlines in terms of wait times and people with no ability to answer questions. I am going to see if our firm can switch to Fidelity or someone else

I JUST want to roll over my funds, and I cannot even get in to access my account. The website is poorly built, and it is impossible to change your username and password due to constant errors. I've waited on hold for HOURS, and never been able to speak to a live human being
