Relaxing atmosphere – The restaraurant was a unique experience. I was pleasently surprised how great the food was. My sister and I went there to have lunch and we both had a wonderful time. the staff was very sweet and had a great attitude. we had the pleasure of having Noya as our server, she was very nice!
Worth Every Penny! – My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Skycity at the Needle. The menu featured everything from seared ahi with wasabi mashed potatoes to wonderfully seasoned prime rib. The food presentation and service exceeded our expectations as well. We'll dine there again soon!
Great One Time Experience – My siblings and I took our mother here for her birthday. The view is amazing, and I think that everyone should eat here once...but I wouldn't want to come back unless I was showing friends the city. For what we paid...the food was so lame and unfilling. My mom was impressed by the view and the service (and that's what mattered) but we all had McDonalds afterwards. It's funny to think about it, but if it weren't at the Space Needle, this place would be broke.
Amazing views - amazingly lame food – The title says it all really. To be fair, the food was OK, but at those prices, you expect to be eating something that sets off fireworks on your palette. All you get her is culinary damp squibs. But worth doing the once, especially if you're new to town.
Just gotta come here once... – Came here for dinner during my short trip to Seattle. Despite cloudy/rainy weather, view was spectacular! Much better than anticipated. Food here is nothing special, and definitely on the pricey side, but was expected. Those who've been to Skycity know that we all paid for the view, and not so much the food. Had Prime Rib, and it was ok. Skycity is not a restaurant that you go to on a regular basis, but definitely worth the trip up on those special occasion.
Put on your "Things to Do Once" List – I had a terrific meal and time at Skycity and I think the overall experience makes me recommend that everyone try this at least once. We had a clear night so the view was unbelievable and our food was absolutely delicious. The service is attentive and warm, although a little wrong in recommending a certain red wine to go with our meal of seafood and pork. Otherwise, we lingered over our meal for almost 3 hours, having a terrific time, and were not rushed or interrupted too often. I coul... read more
Sandy – My kids and I celebrated my 40th Birthday at the 40 yr old Space Needle. The food was fabulous, the view breathtaking and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
Glad i tried it once – but i wouldn't go again. the service was great - friendly, attentive, fast. but the food was nondescript and WAY too expensive. lobster bisque was good, salads were good, but the entrees were only fair. great, romantic view but be prepared to drop $50 per person on a simple meal.
A Nice Experience – The wait staff is very attentive and the food was better than average but not spectacular. As always, every seat provides a great view and the restaurant is decoratively semi-formal. The lunch and diner menus are about the same but diner is notably more expensive. It's a romantic date spot. Worth the visit if you've never been to the Needle.
