My move with Sky Van Lines was a nightmare, and I would caution anyone thinking about hiring this company to reconsider: 1) One of the first questions that I asked the Sky salesperson before hiring them was whether Sky Van Lines does the entire move themselves, and I was assured that they do (I had been cautioned against companies that farm out the interstate part of the move). I was very happy with my move using Sky Van Lines. All of the delivery workers were great and personable. John and Kendra were very helpful in making sure everything was billed properly. Being that I have never made such a big move, the experience was smooth and easy. The cost was worth every penny; I felt as though I did not have to do anything. Very happy with my experience.
I've moved myself plenty, but I'm older now and have more money so I hired Sky Van Lines to move me from Fort Worth to Boulder. Hiring movers is the way to go. It took them a fraction of the time it would've taken me and my back didn't hurt me for a week after. Plus they do such a great job putting blankets on everything that all my furniture was delivered without a scratch. They were always friendly and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone.
I had a REALLY bad experience with a moving company trying to totally rip me off the day of my move, so I was VERY skeptical when I had to find a moving company once again. The sales guy came to my house and put everything into a program he had and then gave me a price that he said was binding and would not change the day of the move. I moved from TX to Las Vegas Sky van lines come to move me. The movers showed up on time on the day of the move and were careful packing up fragile furniture with moving pads the relocation rep from Sky van lines was always quick to get back and anytime he wasn't available his price is right and the service is there. I will recommend them to everyone. They did an awesome job and anyone on the phone was happy to help me.
just finish the move with Sky Van Lines. they did the pickup in Dallas last week and the delivery just now ! it got here in time and in a safe way .. thanks for the help with my move and over all with a good experience
