Dr. Skolnik is the only dermatologist I will go to! I drive an hour to see him- he is thorough, compassionate and always takes the time to discuss questions and concerns. He is the best!
Dr. Skolnik is the best! He has helped heal my dermatology problems that other doctors couldn’t. He spends as much time with you as needed. Top of my list - wouldn’t go to anyone else!
Dr. Skolnik is the most thorough, empathetic, caring and professional Dermatologist I've ever seen. I scheduled a visit for a growth on my leg, Dr. Skolnik came in assured me right away it was a mole, but insisted to have it removed because of future concern. He then proceeded to check my whole body and found three more he was concerned about. I felt so good after leaving that visit, reassured and so confident in Dr. Skolnik's professionalism and care.
Literally one of THE BEST doctors I’ve ever had. I drive 40 mins to go see him and he ALWAYS gives me time to ask lots of questions because he cares about me. My wait has never been more than about 15 minutes. He chitchats with me and asks how the rest of my family is (he sees all of us including my husband and three kids). Literally one of the worst doctors I’ve ever had. You drive 40 mins to go see him and he won’t even give you 30 seconds to ask your own questions because he’s “got to move on”. He keeps you waiting 40 mins till he sees you. He chitchats with the front desk ladies instead of seeing his patients on time. He removed 2 moles(I think to make more money), did a horrible job stitching them up (now I have scars on my body for the rest of my life). I came to Dr. Skolnik about 6 or 7 years ago upon recommendation of my primary physician. Previously I had been treated by another dermatologist who I thought was providing good care. Once Dr. Skolnik examined me I learned there were several issues involving basal cells on my face that needed a much more comprehensive treatment plan, including MOHs surgery. Charging a patients credit card with no notification not once but twice during a pandemic is a bad way of doing business. After 15 years I will be finding a new Dermatologist. Too bad all it would have taken is a phone call especially when I expressed how upset I was the first time it happened.
Dr. Skolnik was kind, personable, professional, and overall fantastic! He made the whole family feel at ease, even the baby sister. We also loved that he took insurance!
I've been going to Dr. Skolnik for many years, driving 30-40 minutes just to be seen by him. I've always struggled with acne and it wasn't until I began treatment with Dr. Skolnik that I started to see my skin change for the better. He is a great doctor and very kind person that cares about his patients.
