Me and my wife Robinne moved to New Tampa last spring from Texas. This is my favorite music venue in Tampa. The bands are awsome. Also different genres blues, folk , country, rock, and reggae. The food is awsome also. The staff are great. Also met some cool people here. I hope to get a band and possibly get an opening slot sometime. Love ya Skippers Smokehouse!
Great food, don't let the look of this place fool you. I almost drove right by because it looks like a shack. Glad I didn't!

I met a lady at Skipper's for lunch Saturday afternoon. We got there just before the doors opened. She ordered the Wahoo bites and they came out promptly and were fantastic. I ordered the fish dip and a bowl of gator chili. The server came back about 20 minutes later to tell me they didn't have any fish dip. After about 45 minutes we had to flag her down to inquire about my chili. She didn't even know what we were talking about. So, now I have nothing to eat. Good food. I had the steamed platter. I left stuffed. Rustic environment good service.
Food was great, looks ruff when you first get hear, the staff was great the music uncle John's band was amazing we are from Chicago this was a great experience, just loved it !!!!!!!
