Born and raised in FL. Have eaten many a blackened grouper sandwich. This one was great yesterday. If you are looking for chain restaurant atmosphere or crystal chandeliers and overpriced "faux" cuisine...stay away. Leaves more tables for people who appreciate fresh seafood at a fair price.�

Great food
All the good things I have heard were shattered! One of their most popular dishes, the skip one platter with grouper shrimp and scallops was all over cooked ! Dry grouper, rubbery shrimp and scallops and no taste to the blackened dish! My baked potato was good ! Was definitely not worth the money and I would not recommend to anyone if they truly want good seafood! Sorry skip one!
The food is awesome!!We had the platter with fried oysters, scallops, shrimp, grouper, and crab cakes....the BEST!
Ate dinner at Skip One last night as a result of a recommendation. So glad we did. Their $12.50 fried oyster platter is generous with 20 lightly fried oysters in fresh grease. Can easily feed two. The fried shrimp is just as good. Recommend Skip's highly.

Best seafood and prices around! Very casual atmosphere, please keep driving if you seek fancy fancy place with inflated prices! Skip One has been my family’s favorite for generations now and deservedly so! Seafood is the freshest and best around! Their seafood counter has all the best choices for those wanting to grab some to grill/cook at home.
