Skip One has the best, freshest seafood hands down! I loved the rustic, authentic atmosphere. I'm paying for fresh, wild- caught local seafood (which all is labeled as such in the market in the back of the restaurant and the fisherman fillets the fish himself), not linen tablecloths. Nor do I want the atmosphere there to change! I ate there 2x in 3 days and wish I had gone for even more!
I have been here twice now and the first time I was hoping it was just a bad experience. Nope. The seating area looks and feels dirty, the food is expensive, and isn’t the best tasting. A total disappointment.
We take all our friends from out of town there. When they return this is where they always want to go. Best seafood around. I usually have grouper, my husband loves clams or shrimp and my youngest grand (7) eats the clam chowder not the cup the bowl. Everyone has their faves but I can say it’s all good. Awesome Food & Good Service!
We have gone there for many years. Sometimes descent portions others not. Just ate there today will be our last. Lunch. $51.00. Sorry but meal was $19.95. 6 shrimp 6 oysters 2 skimpy sides. Tea was watered down. Coke was terrible. Just done. Was our favorite. No more. We are retired They’re pricing themselves out of business. Also no one hardly there at 1. Maybe others think so Done with our rant
