No stars. I have actually purchased online from Skin 1 many times over the years. Once or twice there were slight delays in receiving the product due to it's being out of stock. In March of this year, I ordered some product and was immediately charged for it, only to find it was out of stock and expected in some weeks. This business is a scam. I ordered a product in February of this year (2019) and after numerous calls inquiring about its delivery and eventually cancelling the product, I requested a refund of my money It is June and I am still waiting. I call and call and get variations on the same response: that they will refund me immediately, that they apologize, etc. I have yet to be reimbursed. They are thieves, plain and simple. Do NOT purchase from this company. Below is my latest transaction timeline with them: 3.23.19: Ordered $179 worth of product (3 items) from their website. I had placed order 2/20/19. Skin1 charged my credit account for items but never sent items to me. Phone calls go to voice mail & are never returned. Email to Skin1 not given a response. Want to file complaint; have my credit account refunded full amount taken by Skin1 company. Want to share my terrible online shopping experience with Skin1.
Do NOT BUY anything from this company. Often DO NOT have the product listed as in stock on the website and will charge your credit/debit card anyway. Then WILL NOT issue the refund promised. I have several e-mails and numerous phone conversations stating my refund had been issued. Skin1.com is an extremely unreliable online store. I placed an order and was told 3 days later that everything was out of stock and that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to ship. They did, however, charge me instantly for the products. I can't give a 0 or I would, my complaint is similar to those below in regards to online ordering. I ordered product in early December 2018 which stated that it was in stock. Towards the end of December I emailed and received a reply that the product was not in stock and that I could receive a refund if I wanted, as far as I could see there is no way to electronically receive a refund. Skin 1 advertised an item that they did not have, then informed me that it was "out of stock" with a delivery delay of 3-4 weeks. They took my money right away. I was not contacted and had to inquire one month later for an update. I was then told that the item was “discontinued” which is misleading.
