I absolutely love going here but was also very disappointed in finding out they are covering their power outlets as a way of keeping the homeless from being able to charge their devices. That’s so sad. I absolutely loved this store because it was so friendly and about community but finding this is out doesn’t align with what I believed everything for the co op to be about 😞 just a little disappointing! I hope you consider changing this policy. Thank you

I am appalled that the coop has covers on the outlets upstairs so that people cannot use them. It is obviously to deter homeless people from being able to use them and sitting in there. So sad!
I will never walk through your doors again. If you want to take away from people, you will continue to loose business. Hippocrates.
I am so disappointed and disgusted with the management of the coop for placing locking covers on the outlets in the seating area upstairs. This is a message loud and clear that the coop is only interested in community members who fit their boutique grocery business model. The homeless are not part of their community. So disappointed.
I have been going to the Co op for years and was really disappointed in the locks they have placed over the outlets. We all know who this is aimed at- the homeless. If you can't allow everyone to be comfortable and welcome in your establishment I have a hard time supporting you.
the management has decided to join the current war on the homeless community happening in our town by placing locking covers over their power outlets.. don't buy into their "progressive" community-based self-hype.
4.5 my favorite co-op!
Business response:
Thanks for the review, Stasia! We like you, too!
and the speciality HBA. Lots of new products and old favorites. The mercantile area is always perfect to find that "one thing" you forgot you needed!
