Let people charge their devices. Shame on you.
Sad to hear the outlets have been locked to keep out homeless people. It sounds like "somebody else should deal with it" instead of everyone working together as a community...
The coop is Iike a home for my family and I. We have shopped here for over 12 years and I know I can find all the things we need for organic and natural groceries.
Skagit Valley Food Co-op is my all time favorite! We travel several times a year and search out the local co-op...none compare to our local amazing Skagit Valley Co-op! We are so fortunate! The food, the staff attitude and service are second to none! Thank you Co-op for providing us with superb and quality food and service!
Outlets locked up.
I hope you'll learn to treat your neighbors with respect. Until then, I will recommend people stay clear.

I thought a co-op was supposed to be invested in strengthening the local community but unfortunately that is not the case for this establishment.
Disenfranchising the homeless population is certainly no way to run a cooperative. The entire mission of cooperatives is create inclusive, open spaces that allow for multicultural exchanges. Sometimes these exchanges - cross-class - are not 'easy' - least of all for those on the bottom end of the spectrum. It is essential that food cooperatives, and all community cooperatives, have policies that maintain an openness towards the homeless population. If Starbucks can do this, I am sure you can too, Skagit!
